Every time a device attempts to connect to Salesforce instance for syncing, it should transmits its Device id and IMEI number. An 10001 error occurs when Salesforce is not receiving any Device Id at all.
There are no known scenario where a device would have no Id at all.
- Confirm that you are using the correct version of the app.
- Install the Android ID Changer on your device and follow the instructions here to confirm if an Device Id exists.
- If Device Id is blank, change the Device ID to something not already in the table. Try logging in again.
- If Device Id is not blank, there is an unexpected system error, contact TaroWorks Support.
