Cause
This error occurs during any sync (log in, sync, log out) where information is sent to a Salesforce instance where there is insufficient space remaining. In this case Salesforce will refuse accepting any more data and sync would be incomplete. For a production instance the limit is 1GB for data and 1GB for attachments. (For sandboxes it is considerably smaller.) The data from completed jobs will remain on the device until it can is synced or is manually deleted.Solution
Under normal usage the data storage would accumulate. When the limit is hit, please take the following steps:
- Check what is the current storage usage by going to Setup > System Overview. Then click on the Data Storage (red box) to see more details.
- Check if some data can be archived then deleted from the instance to free up space. Make sure the recycling bin has been cleared.
- Contact your Salesforce Representative to request a quote to increase the storage limit.
- If there situation is urgent (all work is blocked for the entire organization), contact TaroWorks Support.
