NOTE: Prior to Android App version 1.8.0, this error message displays as "Error 80003: Server URL is incorrect. Please replace "secure" with domain name of your instance or contact your System Administrator."
For increased security, Saleforce servers make use of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificates. Your device will refuse the connection if the certificate does not appear to be valid. (Usually due to the system clock being set on the wrong date) Also, certain Android devices do not interpret the certificates correctly.
- Make sure your device is set to the right time, this can be found in Android Settings > Date and Time.
- Try connecting to the internet using a different network to test.
- Change the URL as described in the Tips and Tricks section of the Logging into the TaroWorks Android App article.
