Cause I
The TaroWorks app communicates with Salesforce via the TaroWorks Site, that Site is missing the needed permission(s) to perform the required action.
Solution
This is due to a misconfiguration within salesforce. The System Administrator should do the the following:
- Check PART D: Enable Apex Class Access in Public Access Settings in Configuring TaroWorks in Salesforce.com and make sure all required classes are added.
Cause II
Another cause could be that the admin has not assigned the TaroWorks Mobile User permission set to these users.
Solution
Assign the TaroWorks Mobile User permission set to the Mobile Users that have Salesforce and Platform licenses.
Prevention
- Always check the upgrade instructions in the release notes after installing a new TaroWorks package.
- Take care when changing existing settings.
- Ensure that Mobile Users wth Salesforce and Platform licenses have been assigned the TaroWorks Mobile User permission set.
