Cause
If the message is
Gfsurveys.SurveyException:
Script-thrown exception
(gfsurveys)
Error 00004
This special error 00004 is usually triggered by an incorrect setup of the resource library. When TaroWorks sync, it will try to send a resource file to the device if there is a job with a show resource task to be downloaded.
Solution
If using version 2.27.x or lower, please check the following:
- In Setting up TaroWorks Library, make sure the TaroWorks Site Guest User is added as mentioned in Step 6 of Part B.
- In Setting up TaroWorks Library, make sure the TaroWorks is the library name as mentioned in Step 3 of Part C.
- In Setting up TaroWorks Library, make sure the TaroWorks Groups is added as the library's as Author or Workspace Administrator as mentioned in Step 7 of Part D.
If using version 3.0.x or higher, please check the following:
- When Setting up TaroWorks Library, make sure the All Partner Users is added as mentioned in Step 6 of Part B.
- When Setting up TaroWorks Library, make sure the TaroWorks is the library name as mentioned in Step 3 of Part C.
- When Setting up TaroWorks Library, make sure the TaroWorks Groups is added as the library's as Author or Workspace Administrator as mentioned in Step 7 of Part D.
- Make sure all mobile users assigned Jobs with View Resource Tasks have "Salesforce CRM Content User" checked on their user record.
Prevention
- Double check during initial TaroWorks installation.
