Introduction
This article details how to expose Reports and Dashboard to your Partner Community users.
- A. Exposing Tabs in Partner Communities - By adding the Reports and Dashboard Tabs to your Partner Community, the community members will be able to access all public reports and dashboards.
- B. Sharing Reports and Dashboard in Partner Communities - To limit which reports and dashboards a member can access, you can leverage folder sharing.
Before you begin:
- This article is relevant to TaroWorks version 3.0 and above.
- This article assumes all steps to setting up the TaroWorks library have been executed.
- Log in as a System Administrator.
- Understand the various Partner Community License limitations.
A. Exposing Tabs in Partner Communities
- Click Setup in top right corner.
- Quick Find Digital Experiences and select All Sites.
- Click Builder link.
- Click the Settings icon.
- Then click on Navigation.
- Then click the menu on the right-end the Default Navigation and click on Edit.
- Click Add Menu Item.
- Name: Reports
- Type: Salesforce Object
- Object Type: Report
- Default List View: Default
- Click Save Menu
- Repeat steps (7) & (8) for Dashboards
- Name: Dashboards
- Type: Salesforce Object
- Object Type: Dashboard
- Default List View: Default
- Click Save Menu
- Close the Navigation pane.
- Click Publish
B. Sharing Reports and Dashboards in Partner Communities
- Click the Reports tab.
- Select All Folders.
- Hover over the folder you want to share with the Partner Community, click the pushpin icon, and click Share.
- Select the Public Group(s) you'd like to expose the folder to.
- Click Share then Done.
- Note:
- *For insufficient permissions please validate your security settings using this Salesforce article.
- *Remember to check if you are using Salesforce Classic or Lightning when saving your reports, this may affect the way they are displayed in the community.

Communities are a great way to share certain Reports and Dashboards with your Partner Community users, whether they be your field officers or external users like donors.
