Invalid Response: The Response Exceeds 100 Characters

Cause

• There are some automatic validations added to whole number and short text questions.

  • The maximum length of a unmapped short text question is 255 characters.

  • The maximum length of a mapped short text question is the length of the field mapped to the question

  • No validation added to xform xml when short text question mapped to currency fiel

Solution

If you want to be able to enter more characters for a mapped short text or whole number question, increase the length of the mapped field in Salesforce.
