Introduction
TaroWorks Users, both backend and frontend users require additional permission to use TaroWorks 7.0.X and above. This permission is not automatically added on upgrade to TaroWorks 7.0.X and must be manually added to all profiles used by all TaroWorks Users.
For mobile users, this setting allows them to access settings that control their mobile experience and is required to use the mobile application, whereas, for the backend users, this setting allows them to access the TaroWorks Forms.
Before you Begin:
- You must be on TaroWorks version 6.5.x If not, please upgrade to the latest version of 6.5.X first.
- Log in as System Administrator (Customize Application and Modify All Data permissions enabled)
- Click on the gear icon in the top right hand corner and click on Setup.
- Enter "Profiles" in the Quick Find box, then select Profiles.
- Click Edit next to TaroWorks Partner User profile.
- Check View All Custom Settings permission under Administrative Permissions.
- Click Save.
Note: In some cases, an error, can’t have Run reports enabled with this setting! may occur upon clicking save. To resolve this:- Uncheck Run Reports permission under Administrative Permissions.
- Click Save
- Check View All Custom Settings
- Click Save
- Check Run Reports
- Click Save
- Uncheck Run Reports permission under Administrative Permissions.
- Repeat steps 1-5 for all profiles used by TaroWorks Users, both backend and frontend users.
