Introduction
During the installation of the TaroWorks managed package, settings were mapped to the TaroWorks User Profile you created. There are a few additional manual configurations. This following topics will be covered in this article:
- A. TaroWorks User Profile- configure TaroWorks Users to be able to manage TaroWorks users,assign Jobs to groups, and access jobs created by other users when Assigning Jobs to Groups is enabled.
- B. TaroWorks Partner User Profile - ensure Remote ID field is visible.
Before you Begin:
- Complete steps in Article this series.
- Log in to Salesforce as a System Administrator.
A. TaroWorks User Profile
- Click Setup.
- Navigate to Administration Setup > Manage Users > Profiles.
Tip: Type 'Profiles' in the search bar above the menu. - Find the TaroWorks User profile, click Edit next to it.
- In Administrative Permissions, check Manage Reports in Public Folders. (Enables editing reports and seeing progress for Job Targets and Performance Indicators.)
- Check Manage Public List Views. (Required for conducting Assigning Jobs to Groups.)
- Check Salesforce CRM Content. (Enables backend users to handle resources.)
- Check Manage Users. (Enables creation of partner users for the field officers.)
- Scroll down to Custom Object Permissions.
- For the Jobs Object, check Read, Create, Edit, Delete, View All, and Modify All.
- Click Save button.
- Scroll to Field Level Security.
- Click View Next to the Survey Object.
- Ensure Remote ID is set to Visible. If not, click Edit, check Visible, and then click Save.
B. TaroWorks Partner User Profile
- Click Setup.
- Navigate to Administration Setup > Manage Users > Profiles.
Tip: Type 'Profiles' in the search bar above the menu. - Click the TaroWorks Partner User profile
- Scroll to Field Level Security.
- Click View Next to the Survey Object.
- Ensure Remote ID is set to Visible. If not, click Edit, check Visible, and then click Save.
