04. Custom Labels Syntax

The syntax for referencing translated labels in TaroWorks Forms and Jobs is:

$Label.Name 

For instance, to reference a translated First Name in TaroWorks Form, the syntax for the First Name question will be $Label.First_Name

Notes:

1. Ensure TaroWorks Mobile Users are assigned the translated languages.
2. Missing custom labels will cause an error on sync.
3. Drill Down Hierarchy data passed from Salesforce cannot be translated.
4. If a TaroWorks Admin changes the user language to another language or makes a change to a translation value, the TaroWorks Mobile User can sync successfully but some translations have not effected as expected. To resolve this;
   • TaroWorks Mobile User can Redownload Jobs.
   • SF Admin will need to navigate to the Form in question, edit form and republish it without making any changes to the Form. Thereafter the TaroWorks Mobile User has to manually sync again and this will refresh the translations on mobile app as well.
5. Custom scripts, custom flows etc. may fail because of special character replacements.
