Introduction
From version 6.2, Creating and managing Mobile Users all occurs from the TaroWorks Mobile User tab. As a result, users that are creating and managing mobile users will need to work with the TaroWorks Mobile User tab and will no longer need to work with the Mobile User tab and Contact tab.
Add and Remove Tabs
- Click on the gear icon in the top right hand corner and click on Setup.
- Enter "App" in the Quick Find box, then select App Manager.
- Scroll down to "TaroWorks", click the downward facing arrow on the right and click Edit.
- Scroll down to "Choose the Tabs". Select TaroWorks Mobile Users from the "Available Tabs" column and click the right facing arrow to add it to the "Selected Tabs" column.
- To Remove Mobile Users, Select it from the "Selected Tabs" column and click the left facing arrow to add it to the "Available Tabs" column.
- Similarly, to Remove Contacts, select it from the "Selected Tabs" column and click the left facing arrow to add it to the "Available Tabs" column.
- Select TaroWorks Mobile Users from the "Selected Tabs" column and click the upward facing arrow to move it between the "Home" and "Jobs" objects.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
- Verify you can view your users in the TaroWorks Mobile User tab. If not, please submit a ticket with TaroWorks Support.
Conclusion
Congratulations! Now TaroWorks is set up to use the new mobile user functionality. Please continue to 05. Disable Caching.
