What member type options does Assigning Jobs to Groups support?

Assigning Jobs to groups is enabled with the Job object is set to Private in your external sharing settings. When you publish a Job, a Salesforce queue is generated as the owner of the Job. When you Assign Jobs to groups, you are updating the membership of the owner queue, thereby granting access to the Job.

Assigning Jobs to Groups supports the following types of Queue Members :

1. Partner User

2. Public Groups

Assigning Jobs to Groups does not support the following types of Queue Members:

1. Portal Roles

2. Portal Roles and Subordinates

3. Public Groups are not supported with the following selected as members:

   • Portal Roles

   • Portal Roles and Subordinates

   • All Partner Users
   • Public Groups (nested)
