Configurable Image Compression allows you to control the maximum size of photos captured by TaroWorks. If you using TaroWorks for marketing materials, you may want to leave the maximum photo size at the default of 5000KB.
If you are using the feature Images in the Drill-down hierarchy, you may want to choose the minimum of 80 KB so you can push a higher volume of images back out to the device. To understand what maximum target image size you may want to set, examine the average storage space available on your mobile users' device. Then consider the maximum possible number of images that would be sent to a single mobile user for display in the drill-down hierarchy (DDH). Divide average storage space by maximum photos in the DDH to arrive at your target image size. You can use the following steps to set this maximum.
- In the App Launcher, search and select Application Settings.
- Enter the Target Image Size in KB, between 80KB to 5000KB.
-
Click Save.
Please continue to the next step of your upgrade: 06. Add Picklist Value.
