Cause
Beginning Summer 2019, Salesforce by default deactivates the API for external profile like "TaroWorks Partner User" thus you get this error message.
TaroWorks Partner User profile is not having the 'API Enabled' permission
Solution
We need to Enable API for the mobile user profile(s).
- Go to Setup.
- In the Quick Find search for "Profiles".
- Click on TaroWorks Partner User (and similar custom profiles mobile users are using).
- Click Edit.
- Go to API Enabled and check the box.
- Click Save.
- Sync mobile device and test that the error no longer appears. If it still does, double check step 3 for any other profiles that the mobile users are assigned.
